Feels like forever since we checked in on Michelle, right? Well, here you go, at least for one strip. We’ll be back to the aftershocks of Mr. Anderson’s shocking situation on Wednesday.
Five days until Long Beach Comic Con. Who’s excited? I just finished creating a fun promo piece for this webcomic that I’ll have there. And maybe I’ll share it with you fine people online, as well.
This is supposed to be the most terrifying moment of a journalist’s career. But I have to wonder… did Michelle remember to get copies of the pages, or did she just inspect?
I have a comment about Eric’s final speech balloons in the last panel… when I first read the strip, I read them in the wrong order. “OK, this is going on the front page of the paper and website tomorrow, then. Obviously.” Maybe it’s from the normal habit of reading lines from top to bottom, and then each line left to right. I totally get that the positioning of the artwork wouldn’t have allowed for any other arrangement… it’s just a bit awkward.
Yep, that’s pretty awkward. One to fix in the trade collection! Thanks for pointing that out, buddy.
